當前幾乎所有的 鋰聚合物電池都含有一定量的鎳材料，鎳材料是具有一定磁性的； GMB 已經開始在國內同一批工程師合作共同研發首款完全無磁性的鋰離子電池， 通過使用新材料和銅極耳。
該類電池將被用于對磁性敏感的設備上，如磁力計和用于RMI 房間的設備等。
